4-part cork stoppers

A stopper made from two half-cylinders and two natural cork disc ends bonded together, and produced in three different qualities. A stopper made from two half-cylinders and two natural cork disc ends bonded together, and produced in three different qualities. An advantage of the 4-part stopper is that the same row of cork material will never meet in the final product construction, and the chances of a defect running from one end of a stopper to the other is almost nil. Statistically, the chance of such a defect is four times lower than is the case with classic natural cork. For the same reason, TCA risk is also reduced with these stoppers. Produced with a 24mm diameter and lengths of 45 and 49mm, and as fully or partly washed versions.

Like a natural stopper, this stopper does not limit wine storage time, which will depend mainly on wine characteristics and on conditions of storage.
